Well I did not find the Edy's, but I did find the same thing by Dreyer's!  The macros are pretty much identical so I am calling the pumpkin search a success.  I will update further on last nights finds by monday, and review this ice cream as well.

What is Abs & Ice Cream?

So far I assume that most people that are reading this are already familiar (at least somewhat) with my Abs & Ice Cream YouTube project.  But for everyone else here is the video that started it all, followed by my final update on how the ice cream diet went.

There is a pretty cool little yahoo article on the top 10 selling beers.  At first I was pretty shocked the the #1 spot wasn't held by Budweiser, but it actually makes sense that a Chinese beer would be the biggest seller.

Cookie Hunt

So today might be a pretty exciting food day for me.  For those of you who dont know, I live in a VERY small town.  I'm talking a more cows than people kind of town.  This means that I have a pretty hard time finding new and exciting sweets.

Well today we (me and the wife) are going to be venturing out of the pasture and hitting up Target and Wal Mart (exciting I know)...  I will be looking for a few specific things.

First up are the Target exclusive Candy Corn Oreos.  I looked last week but ya, nooooooo luck.  Apparently these are pretty hard to find, but I am a HUGE candy corn fan so I have to locate some.

Something that blows my mind is that candy corn seams almost like the fruit cake of Halloween.  Most people seam to HATE it!  Insanity I know.

Next up is something that I'm not completely sure I want yet, so this will be a "feeling" buy if I can get a bag in hand.

Last but certainly not least is Edy's Limited Edition Slow Churned Pumpkin Ice Cream.  This is considerer a "light" ice cream, but I have still heard great things.  The macros (protein, fat, carbs) are quite low, so this could be something I eat an entire tub of in one sitting.  We will see!  

In case I cant find ANY of these things, there is at least one thing that I am sure I will be having this evening.

If you have never tried JJ's you are seriously doing it wrong.  They are by far my favorite sandwich shop.  I recommend the #12 or the Gargantuan, or both!

Saving Old Bananas

Something that seams like an unavoidable problem is bananas going bad...  Its like they go from a little too green to a pile of mush overnight sometimes.

Thankfully there is actually a really simple solution to this problem!  Just take the overripe bananas, peel them, and then put them in a freezer bag.  This makes them PERFECT for smoothies, or just eating frozen!

They wont keep like this forever, but you should get at least a few months of freezer life out of them.

Pumpkin Poppers

So my wife made a pretty awesome dessert last night.  These are Pumpkin Poppers.  I would suggest quartering the recipe unless you are making them for quite a few people or plan on eating a lot of them, lol...

They were really good warm but once they cooled down they got REALLY soggy and gross.
